Carol Lew, shareholder with Stradling Yocca Carlson & Rauth, will provide insights on the bond financing provisions (and related areas) of the new Economic Stimulus Package and its effects on water/energy/environmental sectors.

 

Fran Spivy-Weber, Board Member, State Water Resources Control Board, will provide a perspective from the State Water Board's charge by EPA to use the Revolving Fund to distribute monies associated with the Clean Water Act--wastewater and nonpoint source projects.

 

The event is sponsored by the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California.

 

Lunch will be served at 12:00 p.m. and the workshop will be from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m. The workshop will be held in MWD's facilities at 700 North Alameda Street, Los Angeles, California.

 

The event will be held in Committee Room 1-102.

 

Parking is available in the underground parking structure at MWD.
